Our Philosophy

We believe that women of shapes, sizes and ages should have access to beautiful and meaningful clothing that makes them feel special and good about themselves.  We believe that clothing choices can honor the very essence of a woman and can be not only a source of pleasure, but also an avenue of expression about her individuality.  We also believe that a woman’s choice of clothing can be very empowering and can reflect the essence of her inner strength.  We also feel strongly that clothing is an empowering force and that as such, it should be of high quality, good fit and should be available in a range of colors in order to truly flatter and accentuate a persons individual coloring and personality.

The symbolism and significance of our prints is also important in creating additional meaning in our customers’ lives as they express individuality and personal connections with evocative motifs.  Our customers love knowing what a specific image signifies whether it is a flower, animal or abstract image, derived from the art world.

We also feel that clothing choice can be a fun and meaningful part of our lives and we encourage dialogue around it, especially relating to special events and gift-giving, two aspects of women’s’ lives that are amplified when shared.  Women and their clothing are about community and we appreciate being a part of it.  We want to help.

Our philosophy also includes a belief that clothing that is consciously produced with quality and awareness as well as with fine fabric also honors the integrity of women, knowing that exploitation is not part of the production sequence.  We support our producers in creating harmonious working conditions and relationships.  This feeling of integrity is reflected in the clothing in the final analysis.
